| Foster Brothers Wood Products has had experience with playground surfacing since 1987. The development of new requirements for Federal Safety Guidelines for playgrounds plus new ASTM standards made certain products unacceptable for use on playgrounds. In response to this problem, through research and development, Foster Brothers went to work to design a new product that would meet the new requirements at a reasonable price. The resulting product, Kiddie Kushion™, met the goal of being a high quality material at a reasonable price while meeting the requirements of Federal Safety Standards, and the Americans with Disabilities Act for wheelchair access.
